Upgrading your home’s energy efficiency is more affordable than ever! Efficiency Maine, the federal government, and some local municipalities offer rebates and incentives to help offset the cost of heat pump installations.

Efficiency Maine Rebates

Whole Home Heat Pump Incentives

  • Low income: Covers 80% of the project cost (up to $8,000 lifetime rebate).
  • Moderate income: Covers 60% of the project cost (up to $6,000 lifetime rebate).
  • Any income: Covers 40% of the project cost (up to $4,000 lifetime rebate).

To qualify, heat pumps must be sized for at least 80% of your home’s peak heating load.
